Wink Einthoven - Purple / Aubergine
In the middle-ages the colour (dark) purple was reserved exclusively for use by powerful people, often royalty. This is (partially) due to the fact that it is very difficult to make with the pigments that were available back then. But (dark) purple's exclusiveness is also probably based on it's richness, it's depth and passion. These aspects appeal to me, as I do occasionally suffer from delusions of grandeur, and like to imagine myself as important.
